1st March...& I was told that it will take a month (this was abt a month back by Onelink/Adelphia reps). If these people block ports (bittorrent, LIVE, online video/audio streaming etc.) then why they are selling HSI to us in the 1st place. Dont they think that people are buying into there 50$ subcription for above things only (instead of just browing and checking email faster). Blocking them because of their inefficiency and inabilility only shows how poor management we have now (probably worst then before).

We are still in someway part of Adelphia HSI (Powerlink). for proof, check ur onelink webmail where a mail from Adelphia for it HSI customer warning users for a virus is sent to our (onelink customers). I dont know what is going to be happening in this transition, since we are in someway still part of Adelphia.....and I think we will be till March 2006.

Now maybe I can have no lag on LIVE

Now only if Onelink can support that kind of speed at all the time.... Anyway....it nice to see good speed finally on onelink. I will try to speed test in the evening and post the result as comparison

Thanks dude for warning me.....I will not ask for tech visit. but only 2 servers providing connecting....how is this possible when onelink advertises that they have 22,000+ subscribers to powerlink. I dont think 2 servers can handle that load, but then again....the QoS had been really bad for the past month. and now 2 more weeks....damm.

BTW...how to find out whats the maximum cap on my modem.

yesterday I call them after experiencing several dropout from Xbox LIVE, and guess what...they say the famous "Every thing is fine" thing. They are telling me that my router is a problem and that I should try connecting the modem directly....& I did (connect the modem to my laptop). The speedtest give me the same result...& the technician keep insisting the same thing "Every thing is fine". I will have to call them again......so that they can arrange for a technician visit to my house to see whats the problem

I am facing a lot of latency tooo. Yesterday...the speeds were always below 1Mb & while playing on Xbox LIVE, was getting a lot of latency and network issues. Onelink is surely not fixing things properly, since from the time they have taken over...I am having slow speed and network issue with LIVE. I am going to call them though to see if they restricted my bandwidth due to LIVE or online video streaming (reasons to take broadband),
