Is Comcast and Vonage Compatable?

I have vonage worked for 3 months now cannot get it to work, I have Comcast as well, but I cannot understand why it worked then all of a sudden just stopped, makes no sense to me, any suggestions, everything on the router lights up but the phone??? worked well while it lasted.
