I have the 3com Sharkfin modem and have had for many years. Can anyione tell if this modem will limit my speed? Are there any real changes from this modem to a newer one?
This numbers look fairly good, but I've seen much higher on here. I'm planning on getting a new computer soon and wonder if I should get a new modem too.
I need to find out what else I can do to make my connection as fast as possible. My stat are:

Go to http://www.maxthon.com. This is a frontend for IE6, tabbed, customisable, skinable, many plugins, and its fast. I've tried all the browsers out there, well most of them, and I keep coming back to this. IMHO, it just beats the crap out of misfirefox.
