Hey, I'd like to thank many of the forum members that posted about tweaking internet connections, like Vanburren. At first, I was getting really low speeds and was going at approximately 20-25% of the average rogers host. Now, after following some of the tweak guides on this forum, this is my current test results. :::.. Download Stats ..::: Connection is:: 2917 Kbps about 2.9 Mbps (tested with 12160 kB) Download Speed is:: 356 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net/ (server2) Test Time:: Sat Dec 24 2005 15:56:54 GMT-0500 Bottom Line:: 52X faster than 56K 1MB download in 2.88 sec Diagnosis: 90% + Okay : running at 98.98 % of your hosts average (rogers.com) Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-F3S40LR7C Im currently have cablenut with Vanburren's settings, and I also increased my tcp Rwin to 513920 using Dr.TCP. I was wondering if it is possible to tweak my connection further. (beside general stuff like remove spyware...etc.) Thx.
