Heh, well, just tested again and got 3.2mbps... I'll take that on my laptop!!

Oh yeah! definitely!! Quick question... I just did the tweaks on my laptop, but the increases weren't as dramatic... I'm only getting about 1.9mbps on it. I't wireless over an 802.11b connection Should I expect my laptop's speed to be about what my desktop speed is? Or should I expect it to be that much slower since it's only on an 802.11b connection? Thanks!!

For anyone out there that is having problems and are not sure if they believe this stuff will work or nut (the whole using Cablenut and other tweaks provided by Vanburen), You better believe and do it now!! My connection was HORRIBLE! (comcast, 4000/384) I was getting a dl of around 500Kbps!!! Which is about 12% of the average. I used Cablenut, and now i'm flying! :::..
