Well from 6 til 9 this evening I couldn't get a page here. Must've been lot a shot going on. Anyhow this is about normal for my dw4000 when the airwaves have thined out. I've had dw for 6 weeks and its smoking compared to dialup. Download and burn audio cd in 10 to 15 minutes. Used to take 4 or 5 days to get 13 songs. Course ya'll know that.  bi now

Well here its 7 am.

I've noticed every few days that I have to retweek my settings to keep my speed up. Seems lately that I hit the FAP pretty often. I use tcpoptimizer and go from 2500 setting for a few days, then 3000 for a few days. Maybe its just my comp being finiky.

I bought mine off ebay for 76 bucks included everything but cables and software which you download at dway. Installer charged me 150 to aim and hookup. Tried everything to speedup, nothing worked well till I read and used tpoptimizer, and tweeked it a little. The 76 bucks also paid the shipping on sat. Beets dialup, no question.

I bought my 4000 on ebay and since its old hardware dway no longer checks to see unpaid bills. They want the business. In my part of the world they're trying to get T-1 for 40 bucks a month. Can't wait to see if its better.

You need to know what you'll do with the computer for the next 2.5 years before you buy.If you really want a good deal you'll build your own or get generic from tiger direct, called systemax. Its what people in the know use as their home machine. Mag writers only bragg on sponcers, sigh. If you do get the dell you'll need a gig of ram to really run media center. A oem software cd will help cause you'll need to reload media center to remove all dells spyware and adware before you can even run the computer and thats just the start of it. It would take me 3 hours to tell all you want to know so good night.
