  1. MB every 0.56 seconds. ( Eyeballs bugging ).
  2. 3Mb/second advertised speed.Wireless connection. MB every 3.16 seconds.
  3. I'm in love. Will post as soon as it is done.
  4. Can anyone beat downloading that 100 MB file in less then 90 seconds ? It does not cache the file, so downloading it more then once won't increase speed. Each download is a new fresh download. I ran it 2 time without clearing cache and same results. You don't have to beat it to post your results.Use IE, because it will record the time, whereas Firefox does not.
  5. When you signed up for your isp, they gave you maximum download and upload speeds. Yes advertised speeds from your isp.
  6. Whats your listed speed from your server ? MB every 1.13 seconds. Not bad at all.
  7. Try ie. If you have it. I like large files. It gives a better read on the consinticy of your download speed.
  8. http://cachefly.cachefly.net/100mb.test On A 3Mb/Second down and up wireless connection. That's a MB every 3.77 seconds. edit: link modified to direct link to content subject - looks like advertising.. rogman is cool though -damon
  9. y Yep. Same up and down.
  10. Check it out. 3Mb/s up and down
  11. Yea can go down and up at same speed. 3Mb's. Also I downloaded the ie 7 beta 3 last night. It is fantastic. Tab browsing, every bit as fast as Firefox. Slick look. When you go full screen, you get full screen. All boarders disapear. Light years ahead of IE 6, and every bit as good as Firefox. Microsoft has a winner. No issues. Get it if you can and give it a test drive.

  14. That post doesn't give any specifics, and I don't have a router. It goes from the tower, to a retangular box on my roof, into my house, into a small plastic box, then from the plastic box to my Earthnet adaptor in back of my computer. Mabey I should wait and call my ISP tomorrow.
