Ok, I shut the modem off for a few minutes (heh watching a movie, almost forgot to turn it back on) and it's back on. I logged into the modem and verified that it was still recieving the 10Mb/1Mb config file from charter. I'm getting the same results though...

The charter speed test doesnt have that option once the test is done. Ya know whats odd... I have tried lots of different speed tests and none show that I'm getting my full speed. But when I jump on the newsgroup to get um educational material it shows i'm downloading at 1300KB/sec.... I think the distance thing might be whats throwing off the speed tests.

Charter is rolling out a new speed package. 10Mb/1Mb I'm in the St. Louis Missouri area and from what I have gathered from talking to countless CSRs is that it will be out on May 28th. They are supposed to be rolling it out nation wide to all of the areas they serve. The price is 69.99/month if you already cable TV with them.
