  2. Ok, I shut the modem off for a few minutes (heh watching a movie, almost forgot to turn it back on) and it's back on. I logged into the modem and verified that it was still recieving the 10Mb/1Mb config file from charter. I'm getting the same results though...

  4. hehe i did the pathping earlier today while i was scratching my head. I don't think it's the nic since i get the same results with my other pc's.   8. Here is a screen shot of my speeds with the news groups. Ok, i'll try without the router, but just so you know I am connecting via ethernet and not wireless.   11. Ya know whats odd... I have tried lots of different speed tests and none show that I'm getting my full speed. But when I jump on the newsgroup to get um educational material it shows i'm downloading at 1300KB/sec.... I think the distance thing might be whats throwing off the speed tests.

  15. I just got charters new 10Mb/1Mb service. The upload is fine but the download... not quite as high as I would like. Here is my info.   18. Charter is rolling out a new speed package. 10Mb/1Mb I'm in the St. Louis Missouri area and from what I have gathered from talking to countless CSRs is that it will be out on May 28th. They are supposed to be rolling it out nation wide to all of the areas they serve. The price is 69.99/month if you already cable TV with them.
