It was 1984. WarGames was just released. And influenced by the movie, I procured an un-pierceable plan inside my head. I knew I had to do it. But what I was about to do would require special equipment. So I begged and pleaded until one day it came. My eyes glimmered like stars as I unwrapped it. The Commodore64, a 300 baud modem and a bottle of avidity for the task at hand: I was to hack the government and uncover any and all clandestine information.

I ended up playing games instead but I've been studying computer systems ever since.
