Not taking sides here but if you will notice everything in the USA has to be a cause and effect deal now. Have you ever been driving down the road and see a cross on the side where someone has been killed in a wreck? Well, everyone knows there should have been a red light there and many complaints have been put in. BUT, until someone gets KILLED or something terrible happens this is only when something gets done. Isn't that a shame. I'm sure both parties knew they were dangerous and didn't want to make an unpopular decision. Isn't it a shame as well that instead of doing ther jobs and doing what is right they didn't because of what people may think!!

I do get around 2.0Mbps consistantly with tweaks though.

It looks like you may need to do some pc cleaning. Upload speed has a lot to do with how fast your pc is. Do you have an up to date antivirus? I would download a spyware cleaner, adware cleaner, and registry cleaner. You can get Spybot S&D, Adaware, and CCleaner for free and they work well. Just google them. After you have ran all of these programs perform a disk cleanup and defreg your pc. Welcome to the forum and I hope this helps. Oh, and before you change any settings make sure you backup your registry. If you have system restore that is a quick and easy way to do it.

Just me, but I would x-out the personal ip address when posting ping and trace routes. Everyone, not just members can see this. Of course there isn't anyone crooked on the net right.

What package are you subscribed to? Have you tweaked you pc? I see you took the test @ 9:31pm. Try it later at night or early in the morning, that will give you your best speed. You can also download a pretty large file from the net and see what your download speed is. Then compare it to your tests. This will let you know how accurate the test is. Welcome to the forum.

I had Norton and never had any problems. Although I will say it slowed my pc way down so I got rid of it. Now my pc is much faster and my speed tests are better. I installed Trend Micro Pccillin.

I would like to know what package you are on as well.

I agree with Tommie. You can tweak more with cablenut and you will pick up a lot of knowledge here. I suggest also to download a large file from the net and see what your real download speed is, then compare it with your speed tests.
