well the tech from comcast just left my house and said the reason for the uncapp is to compete with verizon..which is still an hour away.and to compete with dsl 8mb/s..packages.i was thinking something was wrong when i ran test any where from 10mb/s to 25mb/s 25mb/s of course from speak easy..10mb/s to 15mb/s from testmy.net .im just happy uncapped and speed burst to top..

i think the show is funny and great... but how do they get around the entrappment law..or is it??

well i think i got it figured out my cookie setting where set to low..turned it up to med high and so far the pop up for generic host win32 has stoped ya me... keeping fingers crossed..

Does adaware have automatic removal?

I hate Norton. It always lets you know what virus or other BS it allowed into your machine, but rarely stops them.

I've had some spyware that required me to manually remove the files from the registry in safe mode in order to get rid of it. But Ad-Aware will give you the file name(s).

im running adaware now i will post when its done.And im not really comfortable removing manully..

well bro , on your first post it said you were at 22mb/s on Comcast,  lol which is almost impossible for Comcast.   The 2 testmy.net servers and the mirror server are giving you 1.3 mb -> 1.8 which is still slow for a Comcast connection.  Honestly i dont think youll get better than 8 mb/s with Comcast,  and a farrrrr far call from 22mb/s with Comcast lol.

speak easy has me over 20mb/s as well?
