Thanks for your your help on narrowing down the problem! What might be wrong with my cache, is there a link to a FAQ or guide on how to fix it? Thanks! -
Hey ya'll I just finished a flat copy of XP and I was getting everything working again. I just finished installing my new Surf Board Cable modem and Netgrear wireless router. I thought I should see if the new hardware sped up my connection. I don't know what to make of these scores, can that be right? My D/L is 55248! So, I tried the U/L test and that is were the poop hit the fan. I'm stumped, here are just three of the test that I did in the last hour. I called Insight, nothing going on there. Here you go, This was with cable_normal_2k.ccs ::::::::::.. Download Stats ..:::::::::: Download Connection is:: 55248 Kbps about 55.25 Mbps (tested with 12160 kB) Download Speed is:: 6744 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net/ (Server 1) Test Time:: 2006/07/17 - 9:01pm Bottom Line:: 963X faster than 56K 1MB Download in 0.15 sec Tested from a 12160 kB file and took 1.803 seconds to complete Download Diagnosis:: Awesome! 20% + : 1365.85 % faster than the average for host (insightbb.com) D-Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-3DEBHI4QG User Agent:: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727) Here is the 2nd D/L test run about 10 min after the first test. I tried Cable & DSL 512 256.ccs this time. :::.. I was using Cable & DSL 512 128.ccs for this as well (I've tried almost all of the different setting from cablenut, including the upgrade one's from their site. :::.. OMG! I just finished a flat copy of XP and I was getting evething working again. I just finished getting everthing back to normal and decided to see how my new Cable modem and Netgrear router were working. I don't know what to make of these scores, can that be right? I'm almost afraid to fire up my P2P program. I might hurt someone. Any input on these scores would be great! :::..
