i ran spyware terminator and a program to find rootkits yesterday and neither one of them found anything wrong

i did that and it did not help the speed any

i did not have to install either of them

i have tried all of them and they all gave the same result

I installed VirtualDub and subtitler.vdf on my new computer for a couple of days ago but the subtitler doesn't work, I used the same filter at my old computer and it worked perfectly, but now I don't even see the subtitle in the prewiev, someone who knows whats wrong? Thanks for helping

i have centurytel dsl. 1500 Kbps download 256Kbps upload. that is what pay for. although my modem diagnostics has my connection listed as 2400Kbps download and 256Kbps upload. i am running windows xp sp2. i have avast 4.7 free version. here is my problem i have terrible speeds during the daytime but at 12am midnight i can download at anywhere from 200kB/s to 250kB/s until like 12pm what is the problem here? :::..
