  1. True, it is a little slow for my advertized speed, but this "Network" is Running 7 computers at any given time during work hours. Plus, since i added a Lynsys SRX 200 wireless router, two of my neighbors (both family) also have access to my internet connection (why should they pay for internet if they can get it for free? i would get it from them, but since we have a home office here, we need a constant reliable internet...)
  2. ok, did the test, now this looks better, it is now 1pm, so this looks realistic for me. I did the next two tests: ::::::::::.. 3. I am new to this website, and dont know much about all of this. I came here in hope of learning more stuff, but i find this hard to understand. I took several tests so far and will run more of them, but my last one showed this: :::.. testmy.net test results ..::: Download Connection is:: 28974 Kbps about 28.97 Mbps (tested with 12160 kB) Download Speed is:: 3537 kB/s Upload Connection is:: 749 Kbps about 0.75 Mbps (tested with 1496 kB) Upload Speed is:: 91 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net (Server 1) Test Time:: 2006/08/17 - 12:07am D-Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-FT9BIZWMJ U-Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-BF8LDNW24 User Agent:: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; Media Center PC 3.1) [!] It is 12something in the morning here, so i guess the extra speed is from low activity, but i dont know for sure. Now, since i am new to all this, i have not done what the guide sais to do to increase your internet speed cap. What i do have are 7 comps on this line, and use to run them and 2 Xbox360 on it. Since i play at night, the comps are usualy off, so only the 360 are on at night, for me and my bro to play. The problem is that running both of them online at the same time caused lag, so i ordered another Cable Internet. Since i am having truble with the set pup, i came here for help.
