i keep you guys busy dont i??lol ok on my other computer......dell inspiron 8200 i have a wireless card built in...it was working fine ystrdy morn...goto start it up this morning...loads up gr8..try to get here to do my daily speed test and get the error msg ...firefox can find the server...blah blah.. so i troubleshoot and checked my network connections and everything checks out except for the default gateway....its blank....went into CMD ..did an ipconfig...ditto no default gateway.... i plugged in my comp in the living room to the router and get the same message.... so again i bring myself humbly to the mercy of the forum.... i did NO tinkering this time either...lol thanx everyone...ive learned so much since joining....and irish i was mermber 40K lol

went and did a reinstall....hell it runs faster and the connection speeds are faster.....lol and no i tried that cholla....nothing....i think i tinkered too much in the registry for my own good...but thats the only way you learn...trial and error.... in my case...lots and lots of errors... anyway im back up again...resetting certain things .... and leaving others the hell alone...

yes had ie7 and no probs... then all of a sudden this happens...go figure considering a fresh re-install

i cant get that far... my wallpaper will load up then it says explorer.exe unable to locate component.. "this application has failed to start because Normaliz.dll was not found.Reinstalling this app may fix the problem" tried the XP disk and the repair option...no dice... tried again rolling back...same thing,.,.. so i cant even get far enough in the boot up...good thing i have a backup puter...

ok somewhere i goofed and when i load up my puter...it says windows cant find explorer.exe i was tweaking the registry...(yes i did a backup b4 i messed with it) but tried to restore it and no luck... so i present myself to the mercy of the 4um..lol thanx

hey hey... i bought a set of memorex cdrw's and tried making a CD...well the cd was blank when i tried to play it.... tried another...same thing...put one of the blank CD's in another drive and says its not readable.... did i get a bad batch of CD's or am i missing something here...? thanx

did a check on my FSB and its waaay too slow....according to a prog i used... i was wondering whats the safest way to get into the BIOS to tick it up?? i know nothing about this and will not tinker with something im not comfortable with....and not w/o enuff info... thanx also i cant remember what thread something like this goes into ....so sry if its outta place...

what programs are available...im aware of the WM recorder and didnt have much luck... anyone know of any others that work and are easy to use
