I would buy an OEM version of Windows XP PRO and save money.

I would uninstall your USB adapter and reinstall it.

Reboot your wireless router and then power up your wireless system and it should find your router.

If you are the only system connected to the Internet get a WIRED router. Hardware firewalls are superior.

Go into safe mode, place your Windows XP CD into the CD-ROM (close the start up window), then go to START
