When I first got my internet it sucked I had the 5 mb download speed and was getting 2 mb at top, but they fixed it with the lines or whatever, and ended up with like 4 mb download, but then I got the max thing, and have been getting like 8 mb and 700 upload. Only downside is there cable service sucks. They haven't added anything in the year and a half ive had it.

Ya I have The 10 mb down 1 mb up VIP thing, and I get mostly around 8 mb down 600 up.

I got the 10 mb/ 1 upload speeds, should my jump up since I got max, just got my phone service through them, the new modem looks cool

Ya, I will admit the last few months have been hell. They were telling me like 2 months ago they were going to split it, but it appears they finally did it. For a while I was getting speeds in like 1 mb like I said.

I was having big trouble. I had the 5 mb and was also getting speeds at around 1 mb. Around a month ago they came, and gave me a new modem and it was fine for a little while. I than upgraded to a 10 mb and it was going at around 3 to 5 mb for most the time with upload around 330. I also seen a truck when I went to school, and when I came home from school that day close to my area(not my street but a few blocks) they said they had to split the node because I was on a high node. Lately i've tryed and got speeds around 8 mbs and 900 upload so I think they fixed the node problem for now atleast. I wish people would understand that most of us really just want the best for our money, and best for like online gaming. It seems mostly parents get mad, say you just reset your modem or something like that.

10 mb download, and 1 mb upload. I think they just split mine(was by a college) so for a while it was floating around 3 to 5 mbs. Now it's back to what it should be around 8 and 900. It's perfect for gaming and stuff. For some reason on speak easy my download is always a little bit faster.

7900 download and like I got a 360 upload. I got a 10 mb and 1 mb upload, and don't know why my upload could be so low.

You ever heard of a modem breaking down like that? Is that modem get bad reviews? I tryed speakeasy and got 3100 and 210 I just really don't know. I know that is still behind what its supposed to be, but have never really heard of that happeing to a modem.

Its the ISP modems, but the thing is they just gave me a new modem thats whats weird. Only had ths modem for like 2 weeks.

Any info on this modem? What could be the problem do you think? What should I do?

I've called them like 3 times in a month its getting redicuolous and it's not spyware and I already defragged the computers.

What do you mean tweeking? It's freaking pathetic though, when I upgraded my speed they thought they had to have some guy come and do it. I don't think iv'e been getting very good rep support. They said i had a high node problem and it would run at like 6 mbs per second. 2 weeks ago they also told me the high node problem would be fixed in like 2 days because they were splitting it(I was on same was a college) They were telling me the same damn thing 2 months ago though so who knows. Ok, I have media com, and just got a new modem dcm315 is the model I just got it a few months ago. It was running fine at first. Than like a few days ago I started getting some way lower speeds. It's smaller than when I had my 5 mb package.
