didn't work... I'm still getting 4 megs. I called comcast and he told me the signal was pulling 17 megs... I'm so confused
-
all I need to do is open it, huh?
-
and how do I use that... still getting the same speeds
-
How do I retweak it for this connection?
-
I did it maybe half an hour ago. He told me that I could just reset my modem and I would be good to go. Do you think my modem is limiting it? And yes, I did some tweaking for my old connection

it's in the first floor of the house, I'm across the house on the second floor

using the 6000/764 file you sent me, working pretty well. I have wireless, so that may be the reason I'm not getting the full 6 megs on my downloads. Thanks for all your help you guys
-
I called comcast and they told me I was on the 6mbps/768kbps plan and I actually got better results with the 5000/384 file than with the 6000/768 file
-
Thank you, and do you mean which version of Cablenut? If so, I used version 4.02
-
I couldn't find the 6000/384 file so I went with the 5000/768

ahhh... restarting, that helped a lot
-
also... am I doing this right? I open the cablenut adjuster, go to open custom settings file, pick one, hit hit save to registry then done, correct?
-
I have comcast cable and I am supposed to be getting 6 Mbps
-
thanks, but which one do I use? I used a couple of them, and nothing changed I'm still at 2110 download
-
So I've installed the program, but I don't actually know how to use it. Do I need to install it on a certain computer, or will the tweaks affect all the computers? and... how do I change the settings...
