Most of the time I will either leave it on or put it in standby, its rare when I do a full shutdown or hibernation.
Yeah but I'm impatient...I just lock it down because other people in the house like to mess with things and thats how you end up with SPYWARE...I hate spyware and managing 7 computers on a network....

Heh..mine just sucks up dust all day Guess thats why I go through so much compressed air!

Well...work could get done until the outage hits...then they are down until somebody actually sorts through the messI don't see how any work would be able to get done.
-
I know its definitely the worst I have seen. If I were in charge of that mess I think heads would roll for letting it get to that point!Looks like they have the cable management in place.. but decided that it wasnt worth it.. That would be the worst I have ever seen..
-
Looks as if you would need a couple 18 wheelers.
Either that or some really big pasta forks to pick it all up with

LOL! How would you be able to make sense of that mess?! Gotta feel bad for them if theres ever a bad cable in there somewhere or if there is an outage in that building.

So that embarrasses you? Try having 500/50 and seldom posting over 100 Kbps.
Not embarassing, just don't post em because there isn't really a point, may up my package though

My download test rocks, don't post my uploads because I'm sure most people know a standard Comcast account doesn't get much above 350 for the u/l but just tested this one tonight
I know its pretty late, but during peak times its still around 12000 kbps

I actually had the same speeds with that plan myself, ranging between 4300 kbps and 4800 kbps. I'd call every day trying to get it figured out, and had service call after service call. After 5 service calls and 6 different technicians (2 on 1 visit) I was still at the same speeds. On the 6th service call the tech came out and replaced my COAX and my modem and my speeds jumped up considerably. They hooked me up with the SurfBoard 5120 and got 10,000 kbps up to the neighborhood of 13,000 so far and I am still on the same plan. My upload still sucks...lingers in the neighborhood of 358. The modem that I did have was the SurfBoard 3100, old gaudy white one that I had for 2 years and never really had connectivity issues with.

You all getting your fill of Turkey?! I'll be there with my beer as soon as I get out of work ere

I have comcast so I know my upload doesn't usually count for much, usually around 358 so I'm not too impressed with that. But here's my speed in my sig. That is after 6 service calls and 7 different techs to figure out what was wrong and lucky number 7 got it right by replacing the modem. COAX had been replaced twice and they replaced the digital box for whatever reason. They put in a signal booster and removed it on another call. If they would have just listened to me in the first place they would have saved a lot of time

Sig says it all, just ran the test and this is my fastest time yet
