  1. And before you ask, yes I rebooted.
  2. When I optimized it a while ago, yes.
  3. Here's a screenie of what I have selected:
  4. Yes, I have a wireless card and an ethernet port on this computer. However, I only use the wireless because the ethernet cord is going to something else. The signal is ususally Very Good/Excellent when I run the tests. And when I used TCP Optimizer, it defaulted to the wireless connector (I assume it sorts them alphabetically, it's a Dell connector, so it's first).
  5. I am, but I don't have another Ethernet cord long enough to reach into this room. I'm currently using the one that IS long enough for something else. I could go out and buy one...but that requires money. Something I don't have too much of (I'm 15, can't get a job until I'm 16).
  6. I can, but I won't be able to STAY connected to my modem. What I mean is, I'd have to eventually go back to wireless because the ethernet cord that's in this room is being used by something else. Here's the results: ::::::::::.. 7. I got a better speed now...all I had to do was unplug and plug back in my wireless reciever. It's not the best speed I've ever gotten though. Here's the results: :::.. 8. I don't know what I did wrong, but I must have done SOMETHING. I ran the TCP Optimizer and it made my connection slower. In accordance with the stickied topic at the top of this forum ( ), here's what I have: I'm using Windows XP with Comcast Digital Cable. As I've said, I used TCP Optimizer...and I think that's it. This is my TCP/IP Analyzer test results: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
