  1. i've been told that i would be called by engineering 2x. never happened. and yes, 4 hours of phone calls (mostly on hold naturally), and numerous 2 hour calls. bring your lunch. thanks for confirming my suspicions.
  2. as i said, the speed slows as the day goes on to <100 in the evening at times. i have a long list of slow speed test on hughes site dating back to 7/06. the WORST customer service i have ever dealt with. they did finally rebate me 2 months of service.
  3. tommie thanks for your response. maintenance done. only thing running is IE. have a wireless router. no diff if disconnected. speed right now is 370. will decay to <100 by pm. thanks also messenger off.
  4. thanks for the response, and yes i have, multiple times. i will also add that the problem worsens as the day goes on. 600's in the morning, decaying to <100 now.
  5. went from 4000 to 7000 in 7/06 as i needed ethernet connection for router. was enjoying1000kbs @$59.00/mo prior. now speed is usually<200. spent hours on the phone with support, had 2 tech. visits to tell me my equipment was ok. also told i would hear from engineering twice. never happened. was rebated 2 months of service. talked to tech this weekend, who tweaked the software. worked for a couple hours. said i may need to change satellites. no other providers where i live. (the tech even suggested changing!) any ideas?? thanks
