How do I know if I am having line problems? Do I have to call Insight and ask. If so, I am not looking forward to that - they will give me the run around like always. There is no firmware update for my router, so it shouldn't be my router. Like I said the router was bought in September.

I am from Louisville - I have no idea. I hooked the router back up and it seems like a lot better for whatever reason.

I will run a free online scan tonight when I am sleeping - I will try TrendMicro's Housecall. I do however have Symantec Antivirus that scans every night when I am sleeping and haven't seen it detect anything for a long time. I imagine I used to routed through Atlanta first as well. All I am saying is that we pay over $110 a month for cable and internet services. It's pretty much a damn monopoly. We have no other choices for internet - I'm 24 and very few people my age has a land line telephone nowadays. So DSL is out of the question. Wow - that is all I can say. Speed was average at best. I live in the south end of Louisville and I play online games from time to time. I can't even play now - my ping is all over the place. Anywhere from 70 ms 250 ms and then spikes to 700 or 800 ms sometimes. Ridiculous. I've rebooted the router and modem about 5 times - router is less than two months old. Check out my weak speeds.
