I came over from Com Cast and they were not too bad. I just upgraded to 10/1 with Roadrunner. With a CableNut tweak or two I boosted my speeds but of course speed depends on the time of day, the moon phase and the high and low tide phase too.

My answer to you is I would just laugh and have fun with it. You remind me of the British Sergeant Major I worked with in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Shield and Storm. He and I were contemporaries. We both ran Criminal Investigation offices for our respective countries. He was in the British Army Special Investigation Branch and I was in the United States Marine Corps Criminal Investigation Division. I bent over backwards for him and his investigators to help them get billeting and office spaces with us so they could be safe and comfortable. His investigators loved me for what I did for them. I am still in shock that I got 18614 Kbps when I tested with 48638 kB. I know nothing about computers or speed or anything in that realm so I will let the other learned experts here formulate their opinions and go with what they recommend. But I must admit that using the 48638 kB test was the fastest for me.
