  1. what are the things needed to be done if you have a newly connected DSL in your PC? Firewall? Close ports? tweaks? etc. Just post it here ok!

Is there anything I could do to improve my connection? I can't even reach the advertised speed... I would be satisfied already if I could reach that! I'm in Asia btw...
