anyone able to help? i dont think tweaking is the answer here, linux hits 770kb/s down, and so does my windows box, thats why i believe it to be an issue with my router. im going to try with a cisco 800 series later this week, that should give me a much better idea

seems like a weird thing to mention before, but the file i had loaded, well i dont remember which one it was, lol so im back to random testing, but it may also seem weird but the version 9 files, the 3mbit css file gives a better end speed than the 5mb+ file. but ill welcome all other idea's

Currently @ work, i will update later 2night with the speed tests, but the best i seem able to obtain is 6.6/6.8 down and 384kbit up, yet i sync @ 7616 (<500 meters from dslam) i did apply some cablenut tweaks and took my windows box from 550kbyte/sec upto around 770ish, but (of course) my linux box didnt move, i am wondering if i may be at the boundaries of tweaking and this could be a hardware (modem) issue
