  1. i would just like to thank this website, and netmasta in general, for helping me with my speed problems. i am now 7% over my advertised which is great!
  2. i have two more things to add. Does using firefox as a browser change any of this. Also, does having a wireless connection go through a floor slow down the connection? would it be faster if i wired it instead?
  3. i have another question. I have 3 computers hooked up to my cable router. Is there anyway i could limit the amount of bandwidth to two of the computers, so i can have more focused on the third?
  4. i am confused about the cablenut settings.
  5. Please help me with my cable. I am only getting 60% apparently.. I am new to this, so i am pretty much following the howw-to guide. I have tried doing all of the ffixes and stuff, but nothing seems to work. Perhaps i am doing it wrong. Also, i am behind a linksys wrt54g wireless router, if that changes anything. Also, when i have a bittorrent client open, my internet speed drops dramatically. Even if i have speeds of 5kB down 3kB up, everything slows down and i get tons of time outs.
