  1. First... You think you've got it bad? :::.. testmy.net test results ..::: Download Connection is:: 317 Kbps about 0.32 Mbps (tested with 386 kB) Download Speed is:: 39 kB/s Upload Connection is:: 172 Kbps about 0.2 Mbps (tested with 386 kB) Upload Speed is:: 21 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net (Main) Test Time:: 2008/01/05 - 1:39am D-Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-LD1RBOE64 U-Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-0R1N47ASD User Agent:: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.30; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.648) [!] And I've tried everything I can think of or find on this and about four other web sites related to internet speed boosting. Nothing seems to help. Second... do you understand the difference between 'upload' and 'download' Clearwire's maximum speed is 1.5 Mbps for download... but only 256 kbps upload. Therefore, you should be able to receive stuff at a decent (not great) speed, but anything you try to send to someone else (or to the internet in general) will go only 4 times the speed of dial-up... at most... under perfect conditions. Oh, and just in case you're wondering, those numbers listed above were with 4 (out of 5) lights on the signal indicator.
