i have had wb for almost a year now, silver. same problems. usually when it rains it loses signal, sometimes for over an hour. i have had dl's from 0 to 23,477. when i first got it, it was between 500-700, slowly degraded. now is 100-400, mostly around 200-300. the 23,000 was a fluke on thier part i'm sure. i have called them at least 100 times and have spent many hours on the phone with them. had equipment checked and dish re-aligned once. after 90 days you gotta pay $50 for it.my ul's are better, 50-300, mostly around 100. they expect you to know, that if it is raining you will be down for awhile or extremely slow. my neighbor just got hughes and says it's great, dl's 700-1000, but he is not on as often as i am and he has only had it about a month. i basically can have wb, hughes or dial-up, i'm screwed. they also always try to blame it on your computer also.
