ok hello everyone my Comcast tech man is coming over tomorrow and letting me rent the cable modem from Comcast but I already owned the modem ive bought it at bestbuy becouse I wanted too update my broadband speed to 8meg they couldnt do it becouse my Mac address was diffirent then my account number they couldnt fix the problem I was on the phone about 30 mins or so they said my cablemodem was on another account so I have no idea way I got my bill with my account number, but my cablemodem was on diffrent account ok should I buy another cablemodem or just rent it

ok, I was wondering if this works If I go buy newest Motherboard and Newest CPU out there today and plus Newest DDR ram and Hard drive 500gigs sata, would my broadband speed gets faster, becouse everything ive got now its 4 years old, with connection speed of 4.4Mbps right now, and I almost forgot, I would buy newest video card also! would it improve the speed?? just wonder thanks! Na, Im going too try out TCP Opti program thing, and cablenut program, by the way when I run cablenut and click open file and clicked on CCS directory files VanBurens files what too select on that im using cablemodem and windows xp home ED, theres like different too choose from, 1000 6000, and so on

I also have surfboard 5100 external. and Id updated my speed to 8x but I have never gotten up too 6meg speed its always stuck on 475meg and also wasting my money for something isnt real so I was wondering if there a tweak up my speed so I can get at least 6megs, so I know there isnt impossiable way too get that 8meg speed only if your living next door too comcast co. lol mybe I will, also is it ILLEGAL too uncap my modem if Ive bought it at bestbuy???
