I'm not sure it is necessarily a good idea for the site as a whole and I don't know if I have the kind of time it would take to do it given the current state of the GUI on the site but has anyone given thought to creating a scripted test? I can see doing tests a couple of times a day to make sure my provider is giving me the bandwidth I pay for. With a few tweaks (or a slightly modified version of the existing PHP pages) it could be an even easier task to automate testing. Again, I'm not sure it's a good plan for the site as a whole but it is probably just a couple of dozen lines of Perl to make it happen.
