I had a similar problem. I had to reformat and install XP. After that my internet speed really sucked. Cox came out yesterday. Changed some cables and etc.. He tweaked some settings on my PC. After he left, I could only get 1893 Kbps. Better than B4. I read the Sticky Post and installed cablenut. I tweaked my settings and now I get 4120 Kbps. Wish I had found cablenut sooner. You might want to give cablenut a try. I worked wonders for me. EZ
