My girl friend's computer won't recive signal from her router so today, she came over took my router from my computer to test whether her router is bad or not. so I have no choice other than connect directly from modem to my computer then I just wanted to see if any improvement. Honestly, I didn't expect any improvement but then BAM! There's NO OPTION CHANGE OR MODIFICATION WAS MADE. Just connect and test.. It's kinda messed up that you just think I made all this up.. What an improvement!!!!! For RR Premium.. I get about 920 kb/s MAX with passing through wireless router but without so much better.. Why does router slow connection down so much?

yeah well, that's why it seems to be forever to complete CD... encoding producer is pain in the ass.. I was fool enough to believe it will copy like music CD.. guess i was wrong..

like when i am trying to copy Dvix or movie file, It trying to encode first and that's what it taking forever..

holy crap.. actually burning time isn't much but before software try to convert the file or something.. that's what takes forever..

what program do you use.. i have 16X dvd R

What is normal speed for copy about 2GB worth stuff? I have decent computer  but it takes forever!! I meant  like 4 hrs.. Is it normal to take this long?  I am using nero's DVD software that came with DVD.  I was expecting same as my CD-R speed which is less than 10 min to copy full CD.. Let me know if you know anything about DVDR

I decided to purchase servers from dell but I don't know how to host my web site through my own server at home. I see on news box that this site is running off two dual XEON servers but how do you transfer from your domain to your own server? I was thinking gettin dedicated servers on net but they are ridiciously expensive. Please help expertz!

nice number for direcpc! how much does it cost you these days? I remember when I couldn't get cable in my area, I have no option but gettin satellite.. It was really expensive though.. I think paid near $99 for unlimited service, all other plan you can only use limited minute or KB.. I know it gotten lot better now also bandwidth..

Yeah, i am very satisfy with it because I was getting like 500Kb/s from the beginning.. I was suprised by how little tweak can do..

Wow.. I never believed that little tweaking could make big difference.. Reading other users improvement result after tweaking  was like 'they're just lucky' to me but after i subscribed to premium service (8mbits), I put myself into experimental. I was really disapointed at my result the day I subscribed to premium service. It was little faster than my regular service.. I believe my download speed was about 500 Kb/s' ish.. Soon after i post my result, people was making fun of it.. how they are regular service is faster than mine.. Well i called RR and found out that my modem is way too old so after replacement I was getting result below... well I was pretty satisfy then but I needed more! and that's when i ask VAN for help.. After one after another tweaks helps from Van.. my speed were greately improved.. It's just unbelieveable.. Van Burden even teach me how to create my own tweak file.. I am just totally satisfied and just wanted to share my great improvement!

I had to format my computer because of spyware got into my system where it was impossible to delete. It generate 10 icons on my desktop right after i delete'em
