Window Blinds was tossed out of my windows when it was causing me  problems such as not allowing me to login into my messenger and making IE crash often.....

Vista Inspirat and Style XP is what im using for now.

All i want to say is that there's no amount of money to pay them back for all they have done for me. They are my heroes and they are PRICELESS!!!

Style XP is a very nice theme program but it does slowdown my computer at start up for as long as 2 minutes when it actually starts up in about 30 seconds.

Yes I have found alot of places with trojans, but this site here is great with no spyware or trojans. http://themes.belchfire.net/ , have a good night then.

no i haven't...... if you mean company no' or if you mean cable as the one coming to my modem no'  its my apps that are slowing me down thats a fact....

I imagine a defrag of C: would help some, Ray.  I didn't see it there, but how much RAM do you have?  Is anything overclocked in your system (CPU, Vid card)?

i clean my computer daily and defrag once every 2 weeks or sooner i also have 1 Gig of ram and i do need to upgrade my Video card.. Everything looks good except that i do need to upgrade some things...

i been there before and no i haven't tried it'  i like basic stuff but i will go out of my way from time to time but just for the background theme'  i tried other themes but they come with trojans' well im off to bed' Peace out..............

i like it and i will start designing my own custom made backgrounds with mystical creatures and beautiful women like the one you currently have on your desktop...

Actually i need to upgrade.....

I wiped my HD clean reformatted and applied my C Drive back up and now my speeds are in the low 4MB's with my riuter on and all my apps running including the firewall in stealth mode.

Name software/hardware that slows down your computer performance or slows down your internet speed?

I'm on Adelphia's 6MB/760 Premium Package and normally i get advertised speeds' well thats when i disable my Firewall, AV,  Spyware/Ad ware apps and  bypass my router.   Last i checked i was running at 5.9MB with all apps disabled' by the time i plugged my router in and enabled all security apps my test speed had dropped to 3.5MB and when Stealth is enabled on my firewall my speed drop to 1.5 MB

I'm running Kaspersky Personal pro 5.0.391 with Anti Hacker 1.8.180   Kaspersky s a great security add-on but oh boy does it slow down my internet speed.....

I have always known that copyrighted material/names etc can be used along as they are not being used professionally such as artistic names or as a commercial name that will make wages out of it....

honestly someone with true artistic talent will do impressive art with whatever tools he/she uses' including MS Paint.........

if those were made with MS PAINT

1 individual must be very talented or a true artist

2 individual must have all the time in the world and be very patient.

3 individual must have used photoshop and claims he used MS Paint

4 individual must be making me jealous to make this list. 'lol'

have you tried disableling your firewall, antivirus, spyware and ad ware apps one by one to see what is causing your slowdown?  do you have a router? have you done a test bypassing your router if u have one? what type of settings do you have on your firewall such as stealth etc

after i used it to partiton a hd, can i uninstall it now? prolly a noob question but kinda a trick question for me

actually you don't have to install it to be able to create a partition'  You can create a partition anytime with a bootable cd of PartitionMagic 8.0 but since its installed i recommend that you uninstall it.......

When i dl from limewire i would get network attacks from the same ip # and it stopped until i configured the settings as the screenshot below'  ever since i have not been attacked..........

I been using the Konfabulator 2.1.1 engine for a while now'  when prompted to update to the Yahoo Widget Engine 3.0 it just messed things up for me' Each time i clicked on a widget i had to allow my firewall to allow it and it got very annoying doing that when with the older Konfabulator it was good and worked without having my firewall asking me each time i used it'

BTW i did allow my firewall to allways be connected to yahoo widget engine but it would still required me to allow it or not and that got to be very annoying so i downgraded to Konfabulator' it works great'.......
