I had reset my modem and router before coming to the forums for help also. I just ran malewarebytes as well with these results: Registry Data Items Infected: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Start_ShowSearch (Hijack.StartMenu) -> Bad: (0) Good: (1) -> No action taken. If there is any more that you think can be done to increase my speed I'd greatly appreciate any help you offer. Either way, thanks a bunch for your help so far! Prior to the last couple of weeks, I'd say I was generally averaging close to 1.3 mbps.

Hey all - - my internet connection has really deteriorated over the last couple week it seems. It never has been all that fantastic when compared to their advertised speed, but it has been tolerable.
