  Now please don't kick me off this site for posting a link please. I am trying to setup a shoutcast server or a server you listen through winamp with!! And I am not sure if it is working right so I would just like someone to try it for me. It is running at the URL of http://mymusic.serveftp.com:8000 which there is not really a site located there just a winamp page basically. I think for people to listen to my music they need to click listen on the top of the page and download a playlist file then open that playlist file with a audio player please try it someone so I know if it is working!!! Again I am not trying to post spam I am just trying to configure this server and I have no way of knowing if it is working without someone try it thanks!!!!!

  I don't know if cable works the same as dsl but I had about the same problem I payed for 1.5mbs/128kbsup and I was getting around 340kbs up and down.Sometime more but not much!! So I called them and they told me there was no problem on there side!! I pretty much said bull shit but not to them at first!!! So I tweaked no help got help from vaburen still nothing!!! So I kept calling them day after day till for about 3 months!!! Until on day they told me there was a problem with my line ( finally the truth). They said the line test shows I am to far away to get more than that!!! He said that the only way to fix it would be to move my line to a remote station.(Which they said tthey did before but didn't) So anyway they did and no it is faster!!!!! But my point is maybe you are routed to far away too!!!!!! I think that is what these mean:

  Also notice tested with 3mb file and yes vanburen I treid your 12mb test and scored higher first time then about  same as 3mb so should be accurate thanks!!!!

Also I had the 1.5mbs plan before and never got above 680kbs or so most of the time it ran about 340kbs that sucked and it was up and down and after calling them for 3 months or so they found the problem!!! There servers were to far away so they set me up to closer servers and now I am happy thanks!!!!!

Edit by RTB: Fixed your copy'n'paste stuff. All you need to copy is the text inside the text box for easy viewable speed results. The automatic copy link doesn't seem to work in Firefox.

  I was reading about the new forum on the SMF site and it says that SMF is written in php to. If so won't you still have problems with it like same as before!!!

  I was wondering when someone is downloading something from you that would be using your upload I know but my question is if someone is using all your upload will it affect your download?

It is just like the posts MYSTUFF and FOR FUN and many more and no one told them it was spam and there dam links are still listed in those post.I think RTB just hates me!!!

What the f*****k you guys just took over his topic and change the subject all around.I hate it when people do that.You guys are rude!!!!! I have been with this site for awhile and you never see long time members like vanburen do stuff like this because they have respect.If I was that new guy I would probably leave this site and not come back and that wouldn't be good use nice membes respect your new members!!!

I run my own server at home and when its not hooked up through my router it works fine but when the router is hooked up its says admin has blocked this site!!! I have treid dmz zone and setting up port forwarding but nothing please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My PC I built myself! It has a P4 2.8ghzs Processor with 800mhzs FSB and 512k cache and the ram is 256mb DDR Ram (Upgrading Soon). I have Xp home and I have a TV TUNER and I have a Radeon 9550 128mbs DDR video card and one 40gig internal hard drive and one 80gig external hard drive and I have a nice case with see through side and 2 blue fans.I also have 5.1 sournd sound with the 5.1 speakers and a 17'' monitor and a wireless router with four wired ports!! Oh and a 8x DVDRW and a 16x DVDROM and I think that is it!! I also have my 3mbs internet line I am pretty happy thanks!!!

This message is for cable I was wondering what kind of servers you have!!! I just want to know you talk about them but don't tell there specs please do. Also cable I love your site it is the most accurt test site around there are other and I tested on them and yours always seem to be best I even had one tell me that I have like a 400kbs line no way I have a 3mbs line but when I test on you site it says I get about 2.5mbs witch is alot better and the right test results not some crap the other site tell you thanks!!!!

Hi troll guy I am a gamer to but I looked at the AMD's FSB and it was only like 400mhz and the intel was 800mhz so I went with it!!!

Sorry vanburen But I have sbc yahoo dsl Pro package with 3mbs down and about 384 up. Do you know what the setting are for it!! I also have Xp.I wanted cable but I like the stuff that came with dsl better!!!

I have a 2.8ghz P4 with hyper threading witch I love. Also I got my system for around $500 but US money not EURO.

How does Marcin541 do it I want those speeds I pay for 3mbs and I get about that but I have looked at other posts and they have a 3mbs line to and they get about 3.5 or 4mbs but most of them were cox I have sbc yahoo dsl.

I am new to this site I have tested here in the past but just joined the forum!!! I am wondering I am supposed to get 3mbs and 384kbs and I am getting about 2.5mbs and I was wondering can anyone help make it faster thanks!!!!
