Last week, there was a lightning strike (very) close to my house, and this damaged the cable temporarily. The cable company came up yesterday and fixed this. When I finally got onto the Internet, I found that I was downloading a bit slow. Oh how right I was...

But seriously though, I'm getting really frustrated with this whole mess. I've tried everything... TCPOptimize, CableNut, CCleaner, virus scanning, adware scanning, defragmenting, switching cables around on the router... I can't see what's wrong. At all.
