i have just tried tcpoptimizer and on a mtu test thing it says request timed out or sumthin broadband is runnin at 0.4

hello i have waited like 1 week for someone to post back

ok i got it back to 0.8 but when i went downstairs i did the test on my mums pc(not laptop) and obviously she is using the same broadband which is coming from a router next to my pc and her speed is 1.7mb i cant believe it... shes on wireless for pigs sake surely mine should be faster.. i have a better pc as well i just dont have as much ram and she has no tweaks and before i did tweaks my bb was runnin at 0.3 - 1mbs what is going on

still 0.5 and i pay 22.99 a month!!! expensive i wnt better speed

i have pipex solo 1000(unlimited downloads) and my speed test has now gone down to 0.5mb

thanks alot.. it is now going at nearly 1 mb... is there anything else i can do?? i have a wireless router whichis connected to my xbox, my pc and my mum has wireless downstairs.. is there anyway to tweak the router or anything to make my connection faster??? p.s does having more than 1 thing connected to a router slow it down??? my router is sumvison wireless-G adsl router and i think it mentions something about 54.. not sure what though.. thanx for all the help Misfit
