Long range wireless is a hole different story for tweaking.When you are talking 6 miles between me and the access point there are alot of variables
SNR signal to noise ratio is a big one at this range,line of site is even more important and a host of other things cell phone towers cause interferance
so channel settings are also important.Then of course pc registry and the list goes on.here is my last test droped my firewall to verify the test.
All said not a bad connection.
