Im on DSL type thing, using the modem that came with the AOL pack. Someone said it may have been my phone company putting a cap on my line making it 256 (would explain the max of 30kbs download)?

used the patch and the things still going at 30kbs, any suggestions?

Please note it is AOL im dealing with here. They did that lame "free double speed thing". So yea, my 256 was upgraded n i was downloading at 55kbs....for a while. Now its back down to below 30 and the tech guy said this is maximum and treated me like im stupid. Can anyone help me out her as i have no idea what to do! Janine
