  1. RR Lite is 19.95 a month for the first 6 months, then 29.95. The speed is I think 386/128. However, it never clocks in at that. It's good for emailers but not for people that need bandwidth.
  2. Ok, I upgraded to the standard package and now get BLAZING speeds of 4.5 to 5 MBps. I even clocked in at over 7% of the typical RR subscriber. Nice to see I was in the red.
  3. I would have stayed with SBC but they don't service the area I just moved to. The only broadband option is RR, unless I want to use dial-up.
  4. I'm in L.A. Yeah, they have a faster package, I was just weary of the price. I thought that at least RR Lite would match SBC dsl. Not a chance. It's more like "dial-up plus" broadband.
  5. For the first six months, I'm paying $19.99.
  6. Oh, and I tried all of the suggestions in the sticky and then some. Nothing speeds it up.
  7. Hi there. First time poster, long time reader. I just signed on with Roadrunner Lite and my transfer rates are horrible. I am only operating at 6% of rr's total. My dl is something ridiculous like 244kps. I know it's the cheaper slow package but what can I do?
