I have Sbc yahoo dsl and just got a brand new computer yet my downloads still go at the same speed as before i have a friend with the same dsl and he downloads way faster please help :::.. cdf216 Posted December 30, 2005 CID Share Posted December 30, 2005 One question, before getting DSL did you use a dial up modem? if your registry still has the settings for the modem that is the exact reason for your slow connection. for a fix we'd have to know which package you have, meaning your advertised donload and upload speeds.
