Help Requested With DSL Download Rate.

Excuse me, I'm really new to this site, and well, it seems like it could be really useful, I just don't know what I could to do improve my internet connections download speed.  The upload seems to be alrite, and I'm assuming that by improving the download speed, the upload speed can only be bettered.  I've ran cablenut, with vanburen's packet, i've done tcpip optimization, and one other optimization agent.  I have scanned my computer with both Microsoft AntiSpyware, and ClamWin.

I really don't know where I should be starting, and I guess I'm okay witht the upload, I would just love to improve the download.

I'm using Windows Xp, 1.8Ghz intel pentium 4 processor, 512mb ram, with a westell dsl modem, connected via ethernet.  the connection is routed, to a hub, then from the hub to my computer.  Bellsouth DSL Ultra.

If I left something out, I'm sorry, and I'll gladly post any specs asked for.

Hopefully you guys can help.

I've attached my connections supposed caps, and both download and upload test results.

Hello and welcome, dslnoob.

Looks like you are on the right track.  The first stop you should make is the sticky (click HERE).  If you can paste the info from there, that would help us much.

As far as help with tweaking, I would suggest using cablenut.  That is the program most supported in this forum, and has a very high success rate.
