richcornucopia Posted January 16, 2006 CID Share Posted January 16, 2006 Does the manual or whatever say your phone supports mp3, or wav, what formats make sure that you are putting on those formats on the minisd or the phone won't be able to play them. pitbull481 Posted January 17, 2006 CID Share Posted January 17, 2006 my uncle had the same problem. he has a Nextel I870 http://www.mobiledia.com/phones/motorola/i870.html he was transfering whatever songs he got saved to computer to memory card. computer could read and play the song BUT once he would insert the memory card to his phone, phone couldnt read any file. and this is how he did it:: example: (fd)DJ Mystic - Time To Say Goodbye and i did it like this (less letters and took out symbols) example: DJ Mystic and it works Hope that helps BTW my uncle, cousin, and friend have the same phone (I870), none of them could figure it out, they thought the phone memory card was f*cked up. anyways i fixed them all Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
