trogers Posted January 24, 2006 CID Share Posted January 24, 2006 Tweak settings have to match your comp settings. We need to know your present RWIN and MTU values. Please see your earlier post http://www.testmy.net/forum/index.php?topic=11334.

ska8ter450 Posted January 25, 2006 Author CID Share Posted January 25, 2006 Here is a good setting that i found. It works pretty good i would try it if you have anywhere between 3mbps to 8mbps down and 1mbps to 4 mbps down.
ska8ter450 Posted January 26, 2006 Author CID Share Posted January 26, 2006 Ohh typo error i meant for one what your provider say's it can do and when i said "1Mbps to 4Mbps down" i meant UP!! I would try it for any connection speed really it only takes a couple minutes. Sorry
ska8ter450 Posted January 26, 2006 Author CID Share Posted January 26, 2006 Ohh and reply back if that file helped you or download speeds. It helped mine and alot of times when you take the bandwidth test it goes up and down at different times when i used that setting it is at a constant setting all day. I had at first 300kbps down and that's really slow for my connection so i used cablenut and looked around and used J79zlr's website or whatever and i must have done 50 different setttings and i increased my internet connection from 300kbps down to 3900kbps. And it stay's at a constant rate ussually the lowest it will go is 3500kbps so it's not that much at all and that's when it's really high traffic. Belive me cablenut saved my life it really has helped and also read around this website and i gaurentee that you will be faster and faster sooner or later!
