Deastbrook Posted February 9, 2006 Author CID Share Posted February 9, 2006 The other side of the wall is a another room and on that wall is a dresser. I did the phone test and didn't hear anything out of the ordinary.
trogers Posted February 9, 2006 CID Share Posted February 9, 2006 Do 3 speedtests at www.testmy.net using the LARGEST file of 2992 KB. Do the tests 5 minutes apart. See if you have large changes in the results.

trogers Posted February 9, 2006 CID Share Posted February 9, 2006 Is your comp set to my ccs file or with your orignal file?
Deastbrook Posted February 9, 2006 Author CID Share Posted February 9, 2006 The ccs file you gave me.
trogers Posted February 9, 2006 CID Share Posted February 9, 2006 I think you may have opened my ccs file but did not click 'Save to Registry', exit and reboot your comp. The last nitro test you did showed a buffer of only 62 Kbytes. My ccs file will double it to 124 Kbyte. Go back to this page and load my ccs file again, click 'Save to Registry', exit and reboot comp. http://www.testmy.net/forum/index.php?topic=11726.0 Then do a speedtest for both down and upload, using the largest file. amc11890 Posted February 9, 2006 CID Share Posted February 9, 2006 Those speeds seem bout rite for your package 1.5 dl/384ul rite? , the reason u r only 30 % of hosts average is because of fios is putting the avarage throught the roof. The host average is not just for DSL u must factor in Fios's packages aswell: which consist of 5/2, 15/2 and 30/5. I have the same package as you and i am using cablenut: :::..
