VanBuren Posted February 14, 2006 CID Share Posted February 14, 2006 the mirror download is prob alot closer to where u live than the regular download. post dl from mirror that mirror is in same datacenter as testmy.net servers i think its a matter of filesize, the mirror was 20MB and the main test was 3MB bigger files get a more accurate score try this CEL http://server1.testmy.net/d_load.php?ni=1&tt=1&s=12160&st=st&ta=&top= VanBuren

CEL Posted February 15, 2006 Author CID Share Posted February 15, 2006 I retested on the link you supplied VanBuren. The results are: :::.. Download Stats ..::: Connection is:: 5950 Kbps about 5.9 Mbps (tested with 20972 kB) Download Speed is:: 726 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net Test Time:: Bottom Line:: 106X faster than 56K 1MB download in 1.41 sec Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 165.98 % faster than the average for host (qwest.net) Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-987QDRWMG Faster then before. The first 2 times I tested though I got a result that was a tad high according to the test results, so this was with the flat test. Is it then accurate? I also took down my firewall.
