frodoboy Posted February 15, 2006 CID Share Posted February 15, 2006 I can just see what's coming Birdfan. VFAP! You are on the phone for an hour and a voice interrupts your conversation: "I'm sorry, but you have used too much bandwidth with this conversation so we will have to cut out every other word you speak. If you continue to use the phone, we will be forced to cut out every other sentence until your conversation is reduced to one word every 30 seconds, which MAY impair the conversation to the point that you will have to hang up and wait several hours at which time your full service will be restored. We hope this doesn't inconvenience you, especially if you are in a life or business-changing conversation or if this is an emergency. If this is a problem, you can always switch to a more 'professional' plan where you can talk 'a little bit longer' without being restricted by VFAP. Thank you for you understanding in this matter and thanks so very much for using Direcway VOIP!"
fikester Posted February 15, 2006 CID Share Posted February 15, 2006 seems to me Hughes should fix what they have........ history does repeat itself. I'm sure it will go on to DW 9000 etc... Nothing wrong with improvements, but can you imagine paying for monthly windows updates, how long would microsoft be around?
