morris8809 Posted September 27, 2007 CID Share Posted September 27, 2007 I had the same problem, look on your modems homepage and tell me your downstream and upstream rates, bellsouth keeps trying to rip me off, they will lower my downstream rates to 2100 from 3500 and then down to 1300 which really gives me very slow internet, if this is the case call them and give them a good chewing out about it. beaware of the asian customer support that you have to talk to, can barely understand them, they put me on hold 4 time and told me they would call me back, then i told em just to switch the downstream rates back to 3500 for dsl extreme and once they did, im back to getting full speed. i hope this helps. jonathan
