Guest helloimtim Posted April 9, 2006 CID Share Posted April 9, 2006 Ok I changed my drive letters through disk managment in xp pro. NO problem. Tried the same exact thing in xp home and no luck. Any ideas?? Oh Yes I am loged on as adminstrator. The error message i get is this...........Windows cannot modify the drive letter of your system volume ...........Thanks........ netmasta Posted April 9, 2006 CID Share Posted April 9, 2006 You can't change the drive letter on your bootable drive, the one your OS is installed on. MS KB Article.
