Download Stats ..::: Connection is:: 6689 Kbps about 6.69 Mbps (tested with 5983 kB) Download Speed is:: 817 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net (Server 2) Test Time:: 2006/05/18 - 7:04pm Bottom Line:: 117X faster than 56K 1MB Download in 1.25 sec Tested from a 5983 kB file and took 7.328 seconds to complete Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1) Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 33.3 % faster than the average for host (Comcast.net) Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-4YHL1WAPM :::.. Upload Stats ..::: Connection is:: 356 Kbps about 0.36 Mbps (tested with 579 kB) Upload Speed is:: 43 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net (Server 1) Test Time:: 2006/05/18 - 5:12pm Bottom Line:: 6X faster than 56K 1MB Upload in 23.81 sec Tested from a 579 kB file and took 13.33536 seconds to complete Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1) Diagnosis: 90% + Okay : running at 95.44 % of your hosts average (Comcast.net) Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-68OR3HYMB ............................................................................................ when I use to have Comcast at my parents house it showed download like 600k and when I downloaded from sites I would get 500 90% of the time, but now most of the sites I get 250K so I'm just wondering if that score is my true score. Also note when I put i the Comcast cd it says no adapter, but when Install the modems software,(I have a motorola modem), my comp sees it and the modem works. I had to register my account over the phone. also I can't run bitlord or aries, while browesing the net I get hella slow speeds. my question is this has anyone had this problom, or can anyone provide a solution. TimPawlak Posted May 24, 2006 CID Share Posted May 24, 2006 Yes, testmy.net is the 100% most accurate speed testing website around. The speeds you download from websites vary. It all depends on the server you are downloading from. But yes, those are your real scores. Try downloading Cablenut from http://www.cablenut.com and use the file attached.. restart your computer and try again Thanks, Tim
TimPawlak Posted May 24, 2006 CID Share Posted May 24, 2006 BTW, nice speeds.. and the torrent problem-- try a different program or change the port # Thanks, Tim
